In a world where cultures intersect and mingle, this workshop offers a deep exploration of personal identity through the eye of transactional analysis. This workshop is inspired by the experience of these two professionals who work with clients and students, torn between a dominant cultural parent and a non-dominant cultural parent.

The objective is to highlight the difficulties encountered by individuals in harmonizing their cultural heritage with the surrounding culture. Participants are encouraged to recognize how cultural frames of reference can lead to intrapsychic and interpersonal conflicts, often unintentional, simply because cultural differences are not considered.

The pedagogy of the workshop is based on an experiential exercise and critical reflection, using transactional analysis tools to promote acceptance of self and others. This allows participants to develop a deeper understanding of their own identity and that of others, thus promoting inclusion and mutual recognition in a spirit of “OK+”.

This workshop is an invitation to embrace our cultural heritage as a wealth that defines and unites us, in a world where identity is often tested by diversity and change.
