Social Dreaming is a group process that allows us to share our personal unconscious associations in a way that reveals the collective unconscious. As we move beyond the individual into the collective, beyond the known into the unknown, we have the opportunity to become aware, on a profound level, how all experience is shared and therefore unites us as human beings. Individual identity dissolves as the source of what inherently connects us all is experienced.

In Social Dreaming, there is no group, there is a Matrix. There is no leader, there is a host or hosts. Their role is to set up the structure, keep the time boundary and at the end of the process, provide a space in which what has been revealed within the collective unconscious can be reflected upon and brought into conscious thought and understanding.

In the matrix, we do not usually know who is speaking. Fear is speaking; shame is speaking,   sorrow is speaking; anger is speaking and love is speaking. When the sense of the individual falls away, so potentially, does separation and isolation.

For Social dreamers, the shared unconscious becomes a source of inspiration, creativity and discovery. A space to think new thoughts. To bring our collective unconscious into consciousness.

The workshop will be in two parts. An experiential social dreaming group followed by a time of reflection and discussion.
