The workshop is designed to develop an understanding of how to work with ADHD clients.

The workshop is designed to cross functions and is suitable for Organizational, Educational, Psychotherapy, and Counselling colleagues.

The workshop aims to help participants understand how to work with ADHD clients practically and develop a methodology and treatment direction for them.

We are planning to go beyond the definition and recognition of ADHD. We want to understand what to do and how to guide an ADHD client. We will look in the client’s head through case studies to imagine their experience. We aim to understand their unique way of thinking, feeling and being as their response to the outside world. Through this understanding, we clear misassumptions, frustrations and critical bias. We explore the questions we might ask and the information we need from the clients. We want to gain insights into the challenges that might occur during this type of work. We aim to create structure and understanding and develop confidence.

Beyond understanding the client, we visit a step-by-step treatment plan that outlines the different areas a practitioner must consider while working with an ADHD individual.

During the workshop, we maintain an inclusive OK-OK frame of reference, where all participants are encouraged to be themselves. This approach empowers everyone and sets fair boundaries, creating a safe and respectful environment.
