In relation to the three themes indicated in the title I will illustrate three different experiences of role
analysis.
The first experience concerns the drafting of the card of role analysis and I will explain how, in my
experience, role analysis promotes the awareness of their professional and personal identity. If it is
opportune that the personal qualities of an individual are appropriate to the role that he/she must play,
we know that this helps to provide a basis for the image of himself and for the image that the other
roles will have of him/her. In this first part I will explain how I build a co-creation process in describing
his/her own role and how this co-creative process promotes the consolidation of this work within the
organization.
The second experience concerns the legacy and I will talk about how the experience of shared role
analysis allowed a group of people who were about to conclude their professional experience, to pass
on skills to young recruits and share with them visions and values
In the third case I will talk about a problem of overlap of roles and legitimacy and I will tell about how
through the role analysis it was possible to find shared solutions and collaborate with forces of law
and order and external roles
I use in my work on the role the main concepts of Transactional Analysis: the Ego States, the Reference
System, the concept of Boundaries.
In the case of a three-hour workshop it will be possible for participants to make a description of the
professional part of their role.
