About ten years ago, I began studying how injunctions influence the development of clients’ professional identities. Over time, I developed the project “Time-Method-Money,” in which I explored client issues using concepts such as Time Structuring, Contaminations of the Adult Ego-State by the Parent Ego-State and Episcripts, Cycles of Development by Pamela Levin, and the Script System.
As a result of this work, I created the “Achievement Line” model. This model enables clients to identify the stages at which they accepted injunctions and to take responsibility for their passive behavior in the professional activities.
Workshop participants can use this model in psychotherapy to address difficulties related to professional identity, such as:
- Inability to realize desired professional projects
- Fear of declaring their professional activities
- Starting professional projects but not completing them
- Discounting their projects
- Not appreciating the results of their activities
