This workshop invites participants to explore the models of intimacy that shape human connections. For clients presenting with intimacy challenges, sexuality often emerges as a domain laden with fear, distress, or trauma. Yet, it simultaneously represents a profound source of creativity and life-affirming energy.

In this session, we will delve into the manifestations of sexuality in our clients, addressing the stagnation that can negatively affect their experiences of intimacy. The workshop will be useful for professionals committed to infusing therapeutic practice with hope and vitality, especially for those whose lives have been impacted by their own sexuality or that of others.

Based on the intimacy model developed by Stephen Karpman, the workshop focuses on identifying Blocks of Intimacy that push individuals into the “Sexual Loser Loop.” Participants will learn to foster behaviors that guide clients toward the “Sexual Winner Loop.” Through real-world case studies, interactive exercises, and a theoretical overview, I will demonstrate practical approaches to working with sexual intimacy challenges within the framework of Transactional Analysis.

This session offers an open and respectful space for discussing the nuances of sexual life, addressing specific problems, and equipping practitioners with tools to help clients rediscover intimacy as a source of connection and growth. Join us to enhance your therapeutic practice with life-affirming strategies for unblocking sexual intimacy.
